Thiruvaluvar
Thirukural is an universal scripture written by sage Thiruvaluvar, a Tamil by birth in Tamil Nadu, a century before Christ. It is aimed at the entire humanity without boxing it in time, space or a society. It addresses the Man as an individual as to how he should conduct his personal and family life virtuously, participate in the society that he is part of. Based on this epic, Dr. M. Karunanidhi wrote a book named "Kuralovium" which took him over 30 years to complete. "Thirukural Navarasa Natyam" is a nine episode dance drama based on "Kuralovium".
